A successful account opening means your application has been approved, and your UP account is fully activated. You will receive a confirmation email once your account is opened.

No, there is no specific minimum balance required, but to qualify for the funding rewards, your account value must be more than SGD0 on the last day of the following month after your deposit. For example, if you deposit in April, your account value (including portfolio holdings) must be more than SGD0 by 31 May to be eligible for the SGD30 worth of fractional shares. You are free to use your deposit for investments, as long as your total account value remains above zero.

SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the S&P 500 Index, giving you exposure to the top 500 U.S. companies. Your SGD30 reward will be credited as fractional shares in this ETF.

A SaveUP order is a Recurring Savings Plan (RSP) investment order that enables you to automate investments into selected stocks in the US and MY markets. You can schedule your SaveUP plan to execute daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on your preference.

A SaveUP order is successfully executed when your scheduled investment is processed and completed in the market. This means:
- You have sufficient funds in your UP account.
- The order is placed and fulfilled according to your selected frequency.

Once your first SaveUP order is successfully executed, you will qualify for the SGD30 Cash Credit reward.
